Safety Applications

Tornado Warning - Connect the PRO-VOICE system to the municipal tornado siren or to a NOAA's S.A.M.E. radio. When an automated alert is activated, the Pro-VOICE system will make an immediate announcement. Using the ALL CALL page port, the T-Series will announce facility wide through the PA’s loudspeakers. A calm human voice declares the nature of the emergency and gives directions to the predetermined shelter area.

Chemical Emergency - Individually identifiable button switches are placed in strategic locations where dangerous chemicals are stored, transferred, or processed. In the even of a spill or accident, the push of a button allows our system to provide the location and nature of the emergency to the entire facility or to designated recipients. HAZMAT teams can be fully informed as to the specifics of the incident before reaching the location.

Medical Emergency - Facilities equipped with panic buttons or call-down phones are ideal for connecting to PRO-VOICE. Response teams will have important data before reaching the scene. The accuracy and timeliness of PRO-VOICE generated information has life saving potential.

Facility Evacuation - Although this scenario isn't a great challenge for the PRO-VOICE system, it can be the key to preventing panic. Activating a key-switch in the administrator's office generates calmly articulated safety warnings and evacuation instructions area wide. Our objective is to provide safe, calm and orderly evacuation of people exiting a threatened facility.

Secondary Fire Alarm - Fire alarms lack critical information! You hear the loud noise of the alarm, but do you know the location of the fire? The answer may be to interface PRO-VOICE with fire detection equipment. PRO-VOICE then provides the details needed so that: a) people can evacuate in the correct path, and b) fire responders know exactly where to find the fire. Can you imagine the incredible impact this can have in saving lives and reducing damage?

Safety Glasses and Hard Hats - With a simple sensors or switches, dangerous areas can be made safer by letting PRO-VOICE make announcements to those entering the area. What could be better than to have a nice calm voice remind folks that the area requires safety equipment before they proceed?

The possibilities are endless!
